Double Magnet Module
The Double Magnet Module is simply a “chuck” designed to work in conjunction with other modules.
Each module is supplied with 2 quick-disconnects that allow groups of modules to be simply daisy-chained together.
The main advantages of using Double-Magnet Modules are:
• Affordability: All magnetic chucks are priced based on size, just a few Magnet Modules will accommodate larger areas at a fraction of the cost of a full size magnetic chuck.
• Flexibility: Magnet Modules can be placed to provide tool clearance and uniform clamping in specific areas then simply re-positioned for a completely different application.
• Less Magnetic interference: Drilling or thru’ boring over a magnetic surface will cause chips to build up. Magnet Modules can be placed away from those areas.
Pole Extensions and self-shimming poles can be fitted to all Magnet Modules for even greater flexibility.
Double Magnet Modules are available in two different versions: “DM” is patented and has magnetic clamping to both top and bottom faces for ease of set up. “M” types are designed with fixing holes for conventional table clamping with one magnetic face only.
